Choose what your local requires
Union-printed T-shirts
This describes the decoration work. Tell us if your order needs a union bug and identify the required mark when sending the artwork. A union print does not establish where the blank shirt was manufactured.
Union-made or American-made garments
These are garment requirements, not substitutes for union printing. Tell us if you require union manufacture, American origin, or both. Ask us to confirm the selected style’s details before approval rather than assume every shirt meets the same standard.
Kenmar offers union-made, American-made and budget garment options. If a local’s purchasing policy has exact wording, include it in the request. Do not treat a broad catalog search or a union logo on a mockup as confirmation that a particular garment meets that policy.
Build one size total without losing each chapter’s details
Give each local or chapter a separate row in your working list. Record the local number, shirt style, garment color, artwork version, size quantities and contact responsible for checking them. Then total the identical garment and design groups. Keep different local numbers or back designs separate, even when the shirt color is the same.
- One shared design: identify the artwork that every chapter will use.
- Chapter-specific designs: list each change to the local number, location or wording. Ask how those versions affect the quote.
- Size collection: distinguish youth and adult sizes and check the selected garment’s size chart before the list is final.
- Reorders: keep the final garment and design references. A later order still needs a fresh stock, price and timing check.
Decide where the finished shirts need to go
Compare one central receiving location with the distribution plan your chapters actually need. If you need more than one destination, include the quantity, contact, ZIP code and required date for each, and ask whether that arrangement is available. Do not assume separate packing, chapter sorting or multiple shipments are included in a garment quote.
For a convention, rally or membership event, state when the organizer must have the shirts in hand. Artwork changes, garment availability, production and transport each need to be checked. Delivery options, charges and dates are confirmed for your order, not promised by this planning page.
