For an order outside New York, send the delivery ZIP code and required arrival date with your request so we can check the project before you commit. Catalog browsing does not place an order: availability, decoration method and the finished project price are confirmed for your specific request before ordering.

Know what “union” means on a promo item
Union-printed promo items
This describes the decoration work. Kenmar prints and embroiders in our own union shop. Kenmar prints with our own union bug (RWDSU/UFCW Local 1102), added on request — you never supply the bug, only your logo or artwork. A union print does not establish where the blank item was manufactured.
Union-made or American-made products
These are item-level requirements about the blank product, not something decoration can add. Tell us if you require union manufacture, American origin, or both, and ask us to confirm the selected item’s details before approval.
Kenmar offers union-made, American-made and budget product options. If your local’s purchasing policy has exact wording, include it in the request. Do not treat a broad catalog search or a union logo on a mockup as confirmation that a particular product meets that policy.
Promo categories unions order most
Browse our master catalog for current options, then confirm the details for your order. Common promo categories include:
- Bags: tote bags, backpacks, lunch bags, duffle bags and cross-body bags.
- Hats: baseball caps, trucker hats, beanies and bucket hats.
- Apparel giveaways: T-shirts, polos, sweatshirts and jackets. Coordinating shirts for several locals or chapters? Use our union T-shirt order brief.
Plan quantities, artwork and decoration per item
Give each item its own row in your working list: product, color, imprint location, artwork version and quantity. The decoration method depends on the item, so ask which process fits each product instead of assuming one method covers the whole order.
- Artwork versions: list each design and the items it belongs on, including any required union bug.
- Proofs: review a proof for every item before production. Use our artwork approval checklist for the visual review.
- Reorders: keep the final item and design references. A later order still needs a fresh stock, price and timing check.
Decide where the finished items need to go
Compare one central receiving location with the distribution plan your event actually needs. If you need more than one destination, include the quantity, contact, ZIP code and required date for each, and ask whether that arrangement is available. Do not assume separate packing, sorting or multiple shipments are included in a promo quote.
For a convention, rally or membership event, state when the organizer must have the items in hand. Artwork changes, item availability, production and transport each need to be checked. Delivery options, charges and dates are confirmed for your order, not promised by this planning page.
